In order for us to be able to make such a bold claim as "unparalleled," and earn the glowing reviews you'll see on our testimonial page, it is imperative that we work with vendor partners who can deliver the goods, on time and looking good, all day every day. We do exactly that!
One of the primary differences between us and others that provide the same services is that we don't shop your job over the entire area to get the best price. We tried this approach back in the beginning. Those were seriously exciting times. The "bid it around town" approach brings to mind only one word -- "ANGST." It never ceases to amaze me that some of our competitors actually tell you that they bid your mailings around town to "protect" your interests.
Try this a few times. Give your art to a printer who got your job because  he was the cheapest on the day you called around the city looking for a "great price." He is likely the cheapest because he has been really slow lately and is concerned about cash flow. So, he gives it away in a moment of desperation. This happens all the time. You can find this printer, any day, with no more than half a dozen phone calls. Then, three days later, tell that same printer your art is going to be two days late but you still need the product when you asked for it so that everyone behind him in the process can stay on the original track. Ah, but now his "loyal clients" are busy again. So, where do you think that puts you in the pecking order? The mere thought is giving me an uneasy stomach. And, remember, there are at least three vendors involved in the production of a complete mailing. I tried this approach for a while. Almost every day I thought I might have a nervous breakdown! Some days, that even seemed like a reasonably acceptable option.
Successful organizations that rely heavily on direct mail marketing quickly recognize that the relationships they foster and maintain with good vendors are key to their ability to stay at the top of their game. There are endless direct mail clients out there – there are not endless numbers of quality vendors. Almost all of our vendor partnerships span more than twenty years. We are truly business partners with one shared goal in mind -- yours!
Does this mean you pay more by not bidding your jobs all over the country? Emphatically, no! The combined volume discounts we achieve by working in one environment, steadily, is your gain. Loyalty and steady volume pay handsome dividends. Additionally, lots of money and time is saved in the long run because parties working together regularily come, in time, to learn how to best work together to meet common objectives. We would not have so many long-standing client relationships if we weren't getting our clients competitive pricing. Check the testimonial page where our clients talk about how long we have serviced their needs.
Finally, at SGI, we do not hire newbies to safeguard the interests of our clients. A very small oversight or mistake can be very costly and highly embarrassing in this detail intensive industry.

Here's how we see it -- until we get your check for a job well done, -- it is actually still "our mailing!"
Unparalleled service -- nothing else is acceptable!
Another major benefit of maintaining strong vendor relationships is that when the inevitible challenge pops up, the resolution of the problem is a team effort. There is no finger pointing and playing the blame game. Correcting the problem to keep the client coming back again is the only thing that matters. Remember -- it really is all about you being satisfied!
All we have to offer to differentiate
ourselves from the crowd is service.

Absolutely unparalleled service!
